March Basketball Camps – Boys & Girls Grades 7-9
ROCKET Basketball is excited to announce our first Basketball Camps for youth athletes in Red Deer Alberta. We are offering two camps: one for grade 7-9 boys and one for grade 7-9 girls. Camp details and online registration are below.
Rocket Basketball aims to provide youth athletes with a positive environment to practice and perfect their basketball skills. Our March camps will focus on ball handling and shooting. Local talented coaches will provide athletes with quality instruction and individual feedback during the three-day camp.
Rocket Basketball is eager to give players an opportunity to develop the necessary fundamentals to elevate their on-court performance.
COVID-19 Compliance
We actively support the Alberta Public Health Four-Step Framework and have designed this camp to meet their requirements. This means:
- We will use the two courts at Penhold with the wall divider in place between courts.
- Our camps will run in small groups of 10 per court: 9 athletes + 1 coach.
- Maintain a 3M distance during training activities, drills, conditioning.
- Athletes will wear masks in any training activities that cannot maintain the full 3M distance.
- Coaches will wear masks at all times.
- NO SPECTATORS in the Penhold facility.
Note to Parents: Please ensure you complete your athlete's COVID-19 Online Health Assessment the day before the camp starts. Also review our updated COVID-19 Precautions & Guidelines (effective March 1, 2021).

Refund Policy
- No refunds will be issued unless an athlete from the waitlist can fill the spot.
- If a refund is given, Rocket will charge $50 (administration & business banking fee).
- Credit for future camps will be given for certain scenarios. Attendees must reach out to Rocket as it will vary case by case.
- In the event that a camp is rescheduled by Rocket due to booking conflict, you may be eligible for a refund less the administration fee.
Liability Waiver
When you sign up to a Rocket Basketball camp or skills program, you understand there are apparent and inherent risks associated with high-performance basketball drills and activities. Rocket Basketball is not liable for any injuries that may occur from any basketball-related drills and activities.
Mailing List Policy
When you sign up to a Rocket Basketball event, program or waiting list, your name and email are added to our Rocket Basketball mailing list. We do not share your information with anyone. You can unsubscribe at any time. If you choose to un-register for an event or program, your signup information will be deleted from our site.

Digital Images Policy
Digital images (photos/video clips) taken during the camps may be posted to our Rocket Basketball website and/or Instagram account. Names or other personal identification of student participants will not be used.
